Listing description

The Associate Director working closely with the Director of Admissions, as a key member of the Enrollment Management team and has direct responsibility for initiating recruitment activities (on and-off campus) and maintaining the Admissions website including events management software and the Admissions CRM. The Associate Director will keep current with emerging best practices in college admissions and enrollment management.

The Associate Director is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment/admissions process; file review (including selective health profession programs), creating and delivering admissions presentations to individuals, families and groups, and representing the College at high schools and at other venues all over the county.
The Associate Director also manages the transfer credit evaluation process serves as the PDSO superviseing the international admissions process through SEVIS, trains new staff and temporary employees and supervises the adjunct Director and Admissions Recruiter. They will manage the Office in the absence of the Director. Occasional evening and weekend hours. The Associate Director will spend 3-4 days per week at the Newburgh Campus.

General Requirements:

Education required: Bachelor's Degree
practice required: Three years of practice in a College Admissions setting or a significant position which focuses on recruitment, credential evaluation and selection of candidates; familiarity with social media programs. Three years of practice as a manager or manager.
Preferred expertise, expertise, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:
   » Master's Degree
   » Excellent communication expertise (oral and writing)
   » Must have the capability to synthesis admissions data and trends, forecast changes in enrollment/higher education and develop appropriate strategies to respond.
   » Should have strong technology expertise and the capability to manage a CRM.
   » practice in a community college setting
   » expertise of SCT Banner student information systems
   » Current managery practice
   » capability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with supervising personnel, coworkers, all college employees and the public
   » capability to manage multiple projects
   » Must be able to travel between the college's two campuses and other sites
   » Fluency in Spanish
   » Valid driver's license

income: $53,974-$71,515 per annum; commensurate with practice. This is a Staff & Chair, Grade 60, 12 month position.
