As Covid has improved, We are seeking to transition from a home office environment to our new office location in Poughkeepsie on IBM Rd. We are a small business and team but that does not correlate to stcapability. We have long-standing relationships with our clients and continue to grow.
You will be an adjunct to the Principal of the firm and a direct support to our clients. This is a part time function with 20-30 hours consistently. The function will be diverse and will continue to expand over time with the practice you gain. We are not requiring practice in financial planning, although that would be valuable. The functions of the function will include scheduling meetings with clients, helping clients with any service requests or data updates, supporting clients through the new account opening process and other administrative support functions. There will also be an continuing project management component. As an example, we need to convert paper files to a cloud-located system. Technology expertise and adoption are imperative, beginning with an intermediate or higher level of knowledge of MS Office.
The primary keys to success in this function are an outstanding personality for the work you do with clients, an impeccable eye for detail as we are dealing with financial matters and a high degree of resourcefulness and confidence as there are many partner companies to work with as it’s a complex and interesting industry to learn! Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practice, strong verbal and written communication expertise, and a deep respect for client confidentiality. Because of the nature of our industry, we are hoping to find someone that is genuinely interested in helping others and who will care about our clients and our business like it’s your own. Background in legal, mortgage, banking or other similar environment could be a fit.
