Job Summary Reporting to the Associate Director of Employer Relations, the Job Location and Development (JLD) program administrator is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the JLD program initiative at RPI. This is a full time, fixed term, renewable position. The JLD Program locates and develops off-campus job opportunities for students who are currently enrolled at RPI and who want jobs regardless of financial need. The administrator will locate and develop off campus jobs that are appropriate to the scheduling and other needs of the employed student and must, to the maximum extent practicable, complement and reinforce the educational program or vocational goal of the student. In addition, the position will provide Career Development resources for students interested in participating in the program in collaboration with the Career Development team within the CCPD and monitor, support, and manage the student practice when on assignment in a sourced position. The function will also identify and develop civic engagement, public, and community service-oriented opportunities that may or may not be paid by the sponsoring non-profit or governmental organizations and disseminate those opportunities to the broader student population at RPI. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of practice in a corporate/industry or university career services environment » practice with assessment, data tracking and report formulation. » Travel is necessary with occasional overnight stays. significant combinations of education, training, and directly related practice may be substituted for a degree. Preferred Qualifications » practice cultivating and maintaining employer relationships for on-campus recruiting and experiential learning. Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities » Demonstrated computer competency with MS Office, assessment software (survey tools), databases and career services management systems, or client relationship management systems. » expertise and capability to research and perform advanced internet searches for occupational and industry information. » A dynamic, professional demeanor with exceptional organizational, written, and public speaking expertise. » capability to supervise multiple tasks with attention to detail, a motivated/enthusiastic work style with the capability to work in a fast paced environment with a broad range of internal and external constituents. » Excellent customer service expertise. » capability to work effectively under pressure and meet established goals and objectives. » Demonstrates the capability to work with diverse populations and serves as an advocate for diversity.
