Listing description SUNY Orange's Continuing and Professional Education unit (CAPE) is seeking a part-time High School Equivalency Teacher (HSE) for the Youth Empowerment Program for youths ranging from ages 16-24. This program is scheduled to run during the Summer beginning July 5, 2023 through August 15, 2023. this job offer is expected to teach English Language Arts and Math (Basic Math expertise, Numbers and Operations, and Introduction to Algebra). General Requirements: Required: Bachelor's Degree and at least three years of practice teaching secondary or post-secondary subjects to at-risk youth and adults. Preferred : Special Education degree and certification with prior secondary or GED teaching practice and excellent teaching expertise. Additional Information: Deadline for Applying: May 31, 2023 Position begins June 21, 2023. income: $27 - $30 per hour, commensurate with practice.
