Clinician, Families WorkJOB DESCRIPTIONClinician/Social Worker, Families Work ProgramLicensed Social Workers are eligible for a $7,500 signing bonus! Opportunity for limited remote work to complete required documentation Northern Rivers is seeking a Clinician/Social Worker as part of the Families Work Program (FW). You will maintain a caseload of five families and meet with each on a weekly basis. FW provides six to nine months of intensive services to families whose children either are at risk of being removed from their homes or are already in placement. Families Work also facilitatesparent education groups using Incredible Years and Active Parenting curricula. The goals of the program are to prevent out-of-home placement for children, provide a safe environment to return children already in placement, and prevent future out-of-home placement. this job offer is in Hudson, NY and will require in-person client visits and serves Columbia County. What a Clinician/Social Worker can expect in the Families Work Program: » Identify and discuss the strengths, risk factors, and service needs that may impact the health and safety of the client/family, as well as develop treatment goals and methods. » Paperwork, case management, phone calls, meetings can be done at home; » Ensure the coordination of virtual parent education classes of various age ranges, around the participants' schedules. » Utilize appropriate curricula and support materials to educate families on positive parent-child interaction and child development. » Some mandatory work matters will require a presence in the office. » this job offer does offer a Flexible Schedule Mon - Fri, where you work independently but with a supportive team approach.
