AVP, Program ManagerOverviewHudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of AVP, Program Manager. Primary Function: Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex and large scale organizationalprograms. Responsible for high-level collaboration across business units to ensure success of projects. Define and executeRequest for Proposal (RFP) process and initiatives. Responsibilities » Define program objectives, scope, success criteria, and resource requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. » Maintain accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including program charters, plans, schedules, budgets, change requests, and lessons learned. » Develop comprehensive program plans, including work breakdown structures, timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and risk management strategies. » Collaborate with resource managers to identify and allocate resources with the required skills and skills for program execution, and monitors resource utilization, availcapability, and budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation. » Provide strategic direction and guidance to program teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining a focus on program objectives and results. » Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and alignment all over the program lifecycle. » Identify and address resource constraints or skill gaps, proactively mitigating risks and optimizing program results. » Monitor program performance, evaluate progress against objectives, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep the program on track. » Provide regular updates on program progress, risks, dependencies, and achievements, covering concerns and managing expectations. Prepare and present regular program status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership abilities, highlighting key milestones, risks, achievements, and financial performance. » Identify, assess, and manage program-level risks and issues, developing and implementing mitigation and contingency plans. Facilitate the resolution of critical risks and issues, escalating them to the appropriate stakeholders as necessary. » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned. » Embrace and apply HVCU's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. Qualifications » Bachelor's Degree in Business or at least 2 years equivalent practice for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of practice. » Minimum 3 Years leadership abilities practice required » Minimum 3 Years Project Management practice required. » Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
