Job Details Job Job location: Woodland Pond Inc - New Paltz, NY Employment type: Full Time income Range: $51,000.00 - $53,150.00 income Job Shift: Day Job Job Category: Health Care DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the hiring process, from recruitment to maintaining employee records. ESSENTIAL tasks AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*CF indicates Critical Function) RECRUITMENT • Acts as the primary staff member responsible for ensuring that all vacancies are actively recruited for and that the on-boarding process is efficient and effective for all parties involved. This includes requiring the Recruitment Coordinator to meet regularly with all hiring managers to ensure that departmental recruiting needs are being met. • Posts all approved jobs in a timely manner, performs regular maintenance of the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment databases (*CF) • Screens and identifies qualified candidates, conducts initial interviews when asked to, and recommends candidates for departmental consideration • Facilitates the on-boarding process efficiently, including but not limited to, completing employment verifications, conducting license and background checks, scheduling pre-employment testing, making job offers, arranging new hire orientation, etc. (*CF) • Maintains employee file to ensure completeness and accuracy • Identifies ways to maximize the visibility and attractiveness of digital media/job boards to recruit candidates, including actively maintaining WP social media for vacancy related posts, and ensuring that WP digital recruiting ads are leading the industry in terms of content, and bringing attention to vacant positions (CF*) • Attend job fairs and other community outreach events, as directed. Works closely with nearby educational facilities to recruit new graduates into entry-level positions OTHER • Maintains confidentiality of all personnel matters, as appropriate (*CF) • Maintains a positive, cheerful, professional demeanor at all times, including with confidential and sensitive issues • Completes all required training and in-services • All other tasks as assigned QualificationsQualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred; high school diploma or HSE required Recruiting practice desired. A minimum 1 year practice working in the human resources field in healthcare/hospitality is required Strong computer expertise with working expertise of on-line recruiting sites, ATS, Microsoft Word and Excel Strong inter-personal expertise a must. This is a high-profile, public facing position and positivity and professionalism are a must Excellent communication expertise, both written and oral
