Job Summary
The Operations Specialist provides operational support for, supervises the day-to-day operations of, and serves as the first point of contact for the office of International Services for Students and Scholars (ISSS), and provides secondary support to the Office of International Programs (OIP). The Specialist also provides triage of student immigration issues and handles multiple issues and concerns as they arise from students, staff, faculty, administrative offices and, on occasion, parents and families.

Minimum Qualifications
High School/Equivalent and three or more years of practice in a related setting.

Requires
• Proficiency with MS Office (word, excel, access, outlook)

• capability to handle several tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced office

Preferred Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
Preferred:
• Knowledge of BANNER, OSCAR, and OBIEE software
• Basic knowledge of F-1 and J-1 nonimmigrant visa regulations
• Knowledge of SEVIS and/or Terra Dotta Software (or similar tracking software)

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $19.00 - $21.92 / hr
