Director of Digital Channels

Overview

Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Director of Digital Channels. Primary Function: Responsible for the profitcapability, growth, engagement, and efficiency of the HVCU digital channels. Drive new member acquisition, deposit, and loan growth via digital channels. Enable innovation across HVCU digital properties and media.  In collaboration with other departments, drive the continuing roadmap for Digital Services to grow and penetrate target markets via digital acquisition, retention and cross selling strategies. Deepen member relationships and the end user digital practice.
Responsibilities
   » Drive digital strategy and tactics for acquiring new members, meeting online sales goals, increasing brand consciousness and consistency in existing and new markets.
   » Lead overall execution of lead generation programs using paid search, content marketing, digital display, remarketing, social advertising, mobile, video, email, and webinars.
   » Drive member engagement, satisfaction, and growth by delivering exceptional digital practices and leveraging emerging technologies.
   » In the digital sector, develop and implement testing strategies to improve KPIs including creative/copy testing, audience segmentation, ad placements, and retargeting strategy to maximize sales conversion performance.
   » For the HVCU website, develop and manage for a seamless digital practice including identification, acquisition, engagement, and retention. Key stakeholder of the customer-facing digital strategy and drives customer insights. Full ownership of sales conversion for digital leads & applications, including product cross-sell, across digital channels for revenue growth. This includes lead nurturing, distribution, follow-up, and performance reporting.
   » Manage agency partner(s) to supervise paid and organic traffic marketing strategy and act as project manager between agency partner(s) and internal team(s) to supervise paid digital marketing programs from concept to execution including measuring and optimizing paid digital marketing using but not limited to dashboards, Google Analytics and other marketing analytics reporting. Ensures the ROI on digital marketing is profitable.
   » Work with agency partner(s) and Business Intelligence team to measure and optimize paid marketing using but not limited to dashboards, Google Analytics and marketing analytics reports.
   » Measure and report on performance of all digital marketing campaigns and asses against goals (ROI and KPIs).  Make actionable recommendations for improving performance and meeting HVCU strategic goals. Identify trends and insights to optimize digital advertising spend and performance. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests for all digital channels.
   » Remain abreast of external and internal product and service trends impacts, compliance and other regulatory requirements (i.e. ADA, GDRP) in the financial services industry including consumer behavior, economic conditions, technological and digital advances, and other factors. Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership abilities and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
   » Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained expertise. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
   » Embrace and apply HVCU’s guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities. This includes the Credit Union’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, Employee and Member Value Propositions, Sales and Service Model, and commitment to Lean Six Sigma practices. Support the Credit Union’s initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.

Qualifications
   » Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing or related field or at least 2 years equivalent practice for each undergraduate year not completed required; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of practice. 
   » Minimum 7 years work history in Digital Marketing. 
   » Minimum 5 years management practice in a Credit Union, Financial Institution, or Advertising Industry is required. 
   » Strong project management practice/expertise in media placement and direct mail promotions is required.
   » practice in managing projects with outside vendors is required.
