Job Summary
Under limited supervision, the Executive adjunct manages and supervises the day-to-day operations and administrative support activities of the Office of the Vice President for Student Life. Manages the everyday operation of the Division of Student Life to advance Clustered Learning, Advocacy and Support for Students (CLASS) by providing support to the Vice President for Student Life. Serves as the primary point of contact for both internal and external constituencies, assists and represents the Vice President for Student Life in communicating with constituents, and handles multiple issues and concerns addressed to the Vice President, as they arise. The Executive adjunct manages a variety of special projects for the Vice President.

Minimum Qualifications
• Associate's Degree in Business Administration
• Five years of practice, including two years practice in providing executive support practice for President, Vice President or Executive Director level.
• Two additional years of directly related training and practice may be substituted for degree.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office suite skill set including advanced expertise of PowerPoint

Shift
Business Hours: Monday - Friday

Starting income/Rate
Expected hiring range: $60,000 - $65,000
Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials. This hiring range is provided as Rensselaer's good faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting.
