Job Summary 2nd Shift: The Computer Operator performs standard operational procedures and provides support services for internal and external users of the computers and peripheral equipment. The Computer Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of information and services in a multi-disciplined computing environment, including initiating and monitoring application programs and systems utilities, and quality control. Minimum Qualifications Computer Operator: High School diploma and one (1) year of practice with computer and network equipment and operating software or significant combination of education, training and practice. Valid US driver license preferred. Sr. Computer Operator: High School diploma and three (3) years of related, and progressively more responsible practice with computer and network equipment and operating software or significant combination of education, training and practice. Valid US driver's license required. Minimum expertise, expertise, and Abilities • expertise of Microsoft products and computer networks. • Requires planning, organizing and effective time management expertise. • Requires excellent interpersonal and communication expertise. • Requires capability to anticipate and solve problems. • capability to work independently, under pressure in a variety of technical situations and meet established goals and objectives. • Requires excellent customer service expertise Shift Non Standard Shift: 2nd Shift, 3pm to 11pm; Friday through Tuesday Starting income/Rate Expected hiring range: Computer Operator: $17.25 - $18.00 per hour Sr. Computer Operator: $18.85 - $19.85 per hour Pay transparency disclosure: The selected candidate's income will be determined located on factors that include the available budget, internal equity, and the final candidate's qualifications, practice, education and other job-related credentials.
