Full time, Permanent 14x14 continuous day and night shift rotation What’s in it for you? • Industry Leading Wage: $70.19 - $77.99 /h • Continuous Shift Premium: $3.50/h • Night Shift Premium: $3.50/h *when applicable • Continuous Shift: 14x14; extra 15 scheduled weeks off per year • Vacation and flex/sick time in year one! • Premium camp or and customer flight provided • 75% Employer paid medical benefits • 6% Voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match • 6% Employer paid pension, plus additional match • CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning Job Description: Trouble shooting equipment and systems and performing repairs Utilize Caterpillar SIS, VIMS and ET daily Interface with Caterpillar, customers, product and sales support Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment Various related duties as required Qualifications: Red Seal Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification Valid driver’s license with a successful recent drivers abstract 3rd/4th yr HET apprentices may be considered based on experience Strong knowledge/experience of 797F C175 haul truck Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal Dedication to safety. A safety leader to help drive a strong safety culture Completion of all Finning S-level courses Strong computer skillset including ET and VIMS Preference for advanced electrical troubleshooting skills Tier 2/4 & C175 series engines experience Experience in a mine or industrial setting is preferred Important Notes: This position is located at D05 Kearl Facility on a 14x14 continuous day/night shift rotation Successful candidate will be required to stay in camp, while on shift A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
