Centre for Youth Care Inc. | Saint John, NB Centre for Youth Care (CYC) is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team!

About the Role:

As our Junior Accountant, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, working closely with our Senior Accountant, Program Managers, and leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

*Managing accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and tracking outstanding accounts. * Liaising regularly with the Department of Social Development regarding invoicing and payments.

*Reviewing and reconciling program receipts and expenses, working directly with Program Managers to resolve discrepancies. * Supporting budget development, expenditure tracking, and financial monitoring.

*Assisting with month-end processes, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate accounting records. What We're Looking For * A diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

*Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable. * Experience with QuickBooks Online and Dext is considered an asset.

*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. *Experience in a nonprofit or government-funded environment is an asset. *
