Responsibilities

Tasks

Measure and prepare surfaces, including walls, floors, and other areas, for tile installation.

Remove existing tiles, flooring materials, and damaged surfaces as required.

Prepare, clean, level, and repair surfaces before installing tiles.

Measure, cut, and fit ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles.

Mix and apply mortar, adhesives, and other bonding materials.

Install tiles on floors, walls, backsplashes, showers, and other interior surfaces.

Ensure tiles are properly aligned, level, and evenly spaced.

Apply grout, sealants, and finishing materials to complete installations.

Repair or replace cracked, damaged, or loose tiles.

Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and installation specifications.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures and ensure quality workmanship.
