Job details Location: Edmonton, AB AB T5S 1V4 Work location: on-site Salary: 36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment, full-time Morning, Day, Weekend Starts as soon as possible vacancies 1 vacancy Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 1 year to less than 2 years On-site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Noisy Dusty Responsibilities Tasks Construct clay models and moulds for use in casting concrete products Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced Set up, adjust and operate single-function machines to mix, drill, grind and cut concrete to specifications Check products for quality control Move products using forklift, crane or hydraulic hoist Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish Read blueprint, schemas and drawings Operate machines to drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications Operate vibrating tables to settle concrete Cut cured concrete pipe sections with saw or chisel and cement sections together to form odd-shaped fittings Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Repetitive tasks Manual dexterity Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Standing for extended periods Weight handling Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Safety glasses/goggles Steel-toed safety boots Ear plugs Personal suitability Accurate Excellent oral communication Team player Employment groups This employer promotes equal employment opportunities for all job applicants, including those self-identifying as a member of these groups: Support for newcomers and refugees Support for Indigenous people Supports for visible minorities Who can apply for this job?
