Lakeview Infinity Pools Ltd is looking for two (2) Full-Time General Construction Labourers (NOC 75110)! This is a full-time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $27.00/hour to start.

Job Description:

• Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas

• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites

• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete

• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters and cement finishers in construction activities

• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities

• Assist in aligning pipes and perform related activities during pool construction

• Assist in installing an operating pool equipment such as filters, heaters, and lights

• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel

• Assist in demolishing buildings using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materials

• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment

• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed

• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps

• Ability to read blueprints and building plans.

• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.

Job Requirements:

• Some previous carpentry experience is an asset, but not required

• Some knowledge in various constructions tasks like framing, cribbing, forming, foundations, concrete work, general labour is an asset

• Ability to read blueprints and building plans

• Having formal trades training (e.g. carpentry apprentice) is an asset.

• Knowledge of pool construction is an asset

• Language in the workplace is English
