Your Role
As the H&S Coordinator, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential. 
Your scope includes:
Support managers/supervisors in maintaining, managing and ensuring that company prevention initiatives are communicated and understood.
Ensure Compliance with all regulatory requirements including incident reporting and recordkeeping
Maintain and continuously improve health & safety policies, procedures and programs.
Act as a key point of contact for WorkSafeBC, safety inspections and audits, supporting preparation and follow-up.
Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and hazard analysis ensuring consistency in risk analysis, root cause identification and appropriate corrective actions across areas of responsibility.
Track, analyze and report on safety KPI’s, safety trends, and best practices to identify opportunities and drive proactive risk reduction strategies
Champion a people-first, safety-first culture through visible floor presence and engagement. 

What you bring 
You're a natural fit for the H&S Coordinator role if you have:
Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, HR or related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
3-5+ years of experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing or industrial environments
Strong working knowledge of WorkSafeBC safety regulations and compliance requirements
Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC), or working toward designation
Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Certification (Parts 1 & 2)
Experience with systems such as MS365, SAP, Power BI, or safety tracking tools (e.g., Conformit) is an asset
Valid driver’s license with the ability and willingness to travel between sites
