Job Description:

Looking for a reliable and compassionate home support worker for my elderly parents who are losing their autonomy and require additional care and assistance in their daily routine.

Location:

Mont-Royal, QC H3R 2Y9

Title:

Home Support Worker – elderly care

Duties:

Administer bedside and personal care

Administer medications

Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk

Launder clothing and household linens

Mend clothing and linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Plan therapeutic diets and menus

Provide personal care

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Required Education/Experience:

Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education.

Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school

OR

Have 1 year of continuous paid experience as a home support worker

Skills/ Qualifications:

• Be reliable and punctual

• Take initiative

• Show good judgment

• Have good intuition

• Have excellent organizational skills

Schedule and salary:

Schedule may vary depending on client's needs

Salary: 19.27$/ hour for 40 hours of work

Language Requirement:

Knowledge of English (oral)
