Business Address: 44 Côte du Palais, Québec, QC G1R 4H8 Work Location: Same as above Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible Job Description Make 12 to 13 rooms per day Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors Dust furniture, lamps, telephone, and television Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture Make beds and change sheets Distribute clean towels and toiletries Stock linen closet Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items Pick up debris and empty trash containers Clean the front door, the door threshold, the heater, the window shelf, frames Requirements: Education: No education is required Experience: Experience is an asset. Training will be provided. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Bending, crouching, kneeling Personal Suitability: Punctuality, Client focus, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability Team player, Values and ethics Language: English or French is required Salary: $23.94 per hour for the probation period (600 hours) and after probation: $25.25 per hour, as per collective agreement. 30 - 35 Hours per week. If a candidate is willing to relocate for the position, the employer covers the transportation costs. Important Information: Flexibility in scheduling is required. The employee will work 7 hours per day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 5 days per week. Days may vary depending on the hotel occupancy.
