Expected Start Date: November 16, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Foam Lake Health Centre City/Town: Foam Lake Department: Primary Care Sites Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.86 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 24 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.880 to $53.490 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Primary Health Care (PHC) Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral member of the primary health care team, providing and coordinating initial, continuing and comprehensive nursing services to patients in the PHC sites. The PHC RN promotes quality health care outcomes working within established standards for case management practice to ensure that patients/clients receive a high standard of primary health care. This will be done in accordance with Saskatchewan Health Authority statement and Primary Health Care policies and procedures of the facility and department. The PHC RN initiates and/or participates in community development initiatives within the site. Accountability will be maintained through a close working relationship with the Primary Health Care Leadership. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities Experience in case management Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) Other Education and Training Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C) Competencies Leadership skills Facilitation skills Public relations skills Computer skills Communication skills Organizational skills Demonstrates word processing skills using Microsoft Office programs Knowledge and Abilities Ability to adapt to and implement change Ability to be innovative in service development, delivery, and problem solving Ability to take initiative Ability to be self-directed Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Competent critical thinking/judgement/autonomous decision making capabilities Other Information Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized Profil / Compétences:
