Expected Start Date: November 02, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Royal University Hospital City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Pharmacy Practice Support Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: June 30, 2028 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Pharmacist - Degree Senior $55.479 to $64.53 Travel Required: No Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Pharmacy Practice Support, the Pharmacist -PharmD- Degree - Senior is committed to the integration of coordinating the orientation of new pharmacy team members, strengthening the provincial pharmacy practice model by leading provincial pharmacy practice projects, coordinating and/or supporting the SHA pharmacy residency programs and working to ensure development and maintenance of tools and information for healthcare providers and/or patients regarding medication-related issues within the SHA. Incumbents will liaise with the U of S, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition to facilitate experiential learning within SHA sites. The incumbent represents Pharmacy Services on designated committees and coordinating pharmacy initiatives as it relates to designated projects. The incumbent works in a staff pharmacist role approximately 20% of work hours. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Two years hospital pharmacy experience Education Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP)Entry-level Degree Licenses CPRB certification from an accredited Pharmacy Residency Prgram is an asset Valid Class 5 driver's license Licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP) Memberships Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacy (CSHP) Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS) Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP) Other Education and Training Entry level PharmD is acceptable Competencies Advanced - Problem solving skills Advanced - Organizational skills Advanced - Verbal communication skills Advanced - Critical thinking skills Intermediate - Project management skills Advanced - Interpersonal skills Intermediate - Leadership skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Knowledge in principles of pharmaceutical care Ability to be flexible and willing to change Other Information Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body For more information on the city of Saskatoon please visit Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacy (CSHP) is an asset May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Skills:
